Presider: How difficult it is to care for those who we hate or who hate us. Yet that is the message of the Lord in his parable about the Samaritan who cares for the man robbed, beaten, and lying is the ditch at the side of the road. In our prayers let us focus on love for others.

Presider: Father, look upon us your people as we suffer in a world torn with conflict and hatred. Our hearts are heavy as we witness deaths in war. Help us look to you in solving problems of greed and violence. Enlighten our leadership to root out corruption in our governance. Inspire each of us to love our neighbor whether near or across oceans. We ask this in the Name of your Son and our brother, Jesus Christ who lives with you in the Unity of the Holy Spirit now and forever.
Response: Amen.
"Blessings on your preaching." (The latest are always listed first.)
